The majority of the work at The OPA! Way® involves private mentoring sessions, workshops, and consulting projects with specific clients, in addition to client engagements for "public speaking" at meetings and conferences. We do, however, from time to time offer workshops, retreats, and seminars that are open to the general public, as well as sponsor various special events that support our mission and values.
Upcoming Events:
- Both Alex Pattakos and Elaine Dundon will be speaking at TEDxHappyValley in Hong Kong, People's Republic of China, on April 13, 2013. The title of Alex's talk is "Everybody Say OPA! Greek Secrets for Discovering Meaning in Everyday LIfe," and the title of Elaine's talk is "It's Time to Reject Rejection." The theme of this exciting TEDx event is "Radical Resilience." Workshop: "Leading and Innovating with Meaning, The OPA! Way
Date/Time: Thursday, November 29 (9am to 5pm) and Friday, November 30 (9am to 12pm)
Location: OPA! Center for Meaning, Santa Fe, New Mexico USA

Leaders lead from within--find the deeper meaning of your work in order to inspire others

Group: You will receive personalized attention in a truly unique environment. Each workshop is
limited to nine participants in order to maintain the integrity and intimacy of the learning

Directions: Most clients fly to ABQ and take the 60 minute van shuttle directly to their Santa Fe hotel. There are also direct flights to Santa Fe from Dallas and Los Angeles.
Cost: $1,250 USD, includes two facilitators, materials, refreshments, lunch (November 29)

- On Friday, October 5, 2012, the Santa Fe Film Festival, in cooperation with the OPA! Center for Meaning, hosted a special screening of the movie, Without Borders. A Greek production based on true events that was filmed partly in New Mexico, Without Borders is an inspirational film that among other things explores the true meaning of family and love. Attendees of this special event were also be treated to a Q&A and post-screening party with the filmmakers and members of the cast. Here is a link to the movie trailer.
- In collaboration with the Global Dialogue Center, we offered a free webinar, "Innovating with Meaning: Rediscovering the Soul of Authentic Leadership—The OPA! Way®," on Wednesday, November 9, 2011.
